It's been awhile since we have talked about season 3 and what is going on behind the scenes. We have finished getting the rest of the artist interviews along with industry interviews for the season. Now, the team is working very hard on intros, bumpers, graphics, everything to make "Not Just Country" part of your viewing pleasure. We are gearing up for our "VIP PREMIER PARTY" on September 17, 2010 at the Hard Rock Café. We are inviting the entire community along with the entire artist roster that participated during the season to be part of this great ordeal.
Why are we doing this you ask?
· The city of Nashville, TN
· For our current sponsors
· Potential NEW sponsors
· The artists that participated
· The music industry
· The people who believe in "Not Just Country"
We want Middle Tennessee and the rest of the world to see what Not Just Country TV is all about, how far we've come, and how good NJCTV can and will be good for the community, not just in Nashville, TN, but for the world and the impact NJCTV can have on changing people's lives.

Did I tell you that Not Just Country was nominated "Best Media Outlet" and Hypeman Rick "NIMA Business Excellence Award" for NIMA 2010? What is NIMA? Nashville Independent Music Awards. NIMA was developed in the summer of 2004 by Corey "CORMAT" Matthews, and a group of Nashville music and media professionals. Its primary purpose is to recognize independent Nashville musicians along with supporting and nurturing the musical community.
Cormat started NIMA 4 years ago with the idea of giving some shine to some of the underground Hip-Hop / Urban artists in Nashville. NIMA took off and has grown every year since its existence. This year Cormat was looking to expand from just Hip-Hop / Urban categories by adding:
"Best Hard Rock / Metal Band"
"Best Indie / Pop Band"
"Best Live Rock Performance"
There are a lot of nominees from season 3 of "Not Just Country" that are nominated for a NIMA this year and once again congratulations! There are a lot of alumni that have been on a NJC platform as well.
